The realization at the Corvin department store.
Circa 2018 / Personal Narrative
For years, I lived in the heart of the capital as a spectator. My weight had become an invisible barrier, a friction that dictated which metro exits I took and which steep streets I avoided. The city felt heavy because I felt heavy.
Standing at the foot of the stairs near Blaha Lujza tér, I realized that my lifestyle wasn't just affecting my health; it was shrinking my map of Budapest. Every extra kilogram was a tax on my mobility, a shadow over the architectural beauty I claimed to love. Fitt Budapest was born from the decision to reclaim that map—to turn weight loss from a chore into an act of urban exploration.
The Shift
Moving from stagnant survival to becoming an active urban traveler. Fitness became the engine for my curiosity.
The Method
Integrating movement into the daily flow of the 4-6 tram rhythm and the cobblestone gradients of District VII.
